Receivers and Audio Components

We have a panasonic stereo AK-630 which has always operated perfectly.  But now the CD tray won't open when prompted to with the remote, or pushing the open door button on the stereo.  When we first start it the word OPEN is on the display, whee it wasn't before, and the tray still won't open.  Any suggestions?

I have an older Techwood stereo system, one day while listening to it, the stereo just shut down.  Now when the receiver, a Techwood STR84, is turned on, the screen displays "Welcome" and then "Protect", not allowing any function.  I've tried unplugging it completely, waiting for over 30 minutes... That didn't help.  I've used the 'Reset' button on the back panel...

I wonder if you people can help. I own a Sony Integrated Stereo Amplifier TA-FE230. Upon powering up the amplifier, there is usually a click (approx 5 seconds after the power has been switched on). Recently, there is no click and no sound comes on, the power is there as it lights up.

Any ideas??
