Receivers and Audio Components

I am trying to setup up an old-ish (i think) surround sound system on my pc, the system is the TA-VE215 along side the SA-WMS215 (both sony i believe). I basically have no clue how to set this up, i have got the front right and left working, as well as the center working, but the rear left and right do not appear to work, any suggestions??

My JVC Surround Sound will only play sound out of the Center and Subwoofer feeds, nothing from the right or left channels. All speakers are in working order as I switched them to the center and they work fine there. Also getting no sound at all from the AM Radio. I get speaker feedback if I place the tip of my finger on the end of the "C" transistors for the right/left channels inside the case next to where the input S-Cable conects from the receiver. Any ideas? Thanks  

hi. I just bought a rca rt2911 from walmart. I bring it home and start hooking it up to my old dell lcd tv i bought around 2006. I turn the tv on and there is pink and yellow strips up and down the tv with no picture of the actually program but the audio is coming out just find. I thought i bought a defective product until i plugged it into my one year old tv in the living room and it works perfect. So what would cause this to happen? im very confused!
