cd player not reading

My Numark cdn95 dual cd player doesn't read and ejects all discs after a few minutes of use on the right deck.  I tried running a lens disc cleaner a couple of times but still the same result--what could be wrong with this unit? Motor? Dust? I am tempted to open it up and see if i can clean it out or something....anyone had this or similar trouble? What happenend?

"protect"

SPDIF output from PC to 5.1Ch input on amplifier

Does anybody know how this is done?
On my laptop I have a SPDIF output Jack (stereo headphone jack 1/8 inch). What i want to do is connected it to my Amplifier.

My amplifier has both a 2.1ch input (which is what i can connect the spdif jack out too) as well as a 5.1 ch input.

The 5.1 ch input looks something like this
Front (R L) Rear (R L) S. Woofer, Center - white and red RCA connectors.

Does anybody know of a way to connect my single SPDIF output jack into these 6 white/red inputs on my amplifier?

many thanks!

RCA RT2500

My components are:

Receiver: RCA RT2500 Home Theatre 5.1 Dolby DTS

DVD: RCA RC5240P

TV: Sharp 36U-F510

I'm
using red, white and yellow plugs.  I have no idea if they're
called analog or coaxial (and have no idea which to choose when setting
the receiver - I've tried both).  The plugs came with the whole
unit and I may have purchased additional at Radio Shack, so I guess
these are just normal plugs.

Problem:

Home stereo problam [ turns on but no audio ]

one day i decided to move
my home stereo from the bedroom to the living room. the radio worked just fine
before. but when i turned it on in the living and played it a lil while i
smelled somethen burning so i turned it off, and when i turned it back on it
worked but had no audio. already checked speakers connections , etc. also this

Aiwa mini Hi Fi

I have an Aiwa system which has suddenly become unable to receive FM stations. It works perfectly on LW and MW but all I get on FM is very loud static. I have checked everything that I can think of and although it is not in a position where I can plug in an external aerial, I have tried it in another room where I can,but with the same result. In addition, other audios work perfectly in the offending HI FI's normal position. When I first switch on there is almost normal sound for a few seconds and then static! Any ideas, please??
