nope sorry MIKE the DM boards are no longer available!!! Repair is the only option. Sorry the DM is no longer available. my best advise would be to go to tvrepairkits.com and order the blinking light kit for your model it includes top grade Panasonic capacitors, easy to follow directions with pictures and free on-line tech assistance in case you run into a snag with the repair GOOD LUCK!!
I have a Mitsubishi WS-65517 and the green timer light on my set will not stop flashing. Well, it does momentarily, but then it starts flashing again. This happened after we had a pretty severe storm. I guess the surge protector failed to do its job. I see that you are sending information on how to conduct possible repairs. Would you please send me the information too at: [email protected]
A 30W soldering iron does not seem to be big enough to unseat it? Obviously I don't care about the old one but if I use a bigger (hotter) iron to install the new one I am concerned about damaging it with the heat. Comments please.
I have moved on to here after replacing the four capacitors on the DM.
I have Mitsu WS-55711, with the blinking green light of death! Is the best solution to got to repairkits.com to get the parts and the fix?
Can you email me the fix you have?
On a side note, do you still need pictures of the back of this TV as I will be tearing into it soon.
Thanks in advance.

Hello Larry, You helped me fix my MIT.65513 tv 2 years ago and it's still working great! I was changing some antenna connections in the back and noticed through the vent holes an intermittent blinking or fluttering green light located near the DM board. Is this normal or a sign something is going bad? Should it be a constant green light? My email is [email protected] Thanks-Dave
sorry, but I do not have any service info on this model, but if you get a service manual maybe I can assist you or guide you in the right direction for the repair.

I am also looking for assistance with my Mitsubishi Ws-65511. I have the blinking green light problem. Can I get your infamous fix sent to [email protected]
I also have the dreaded blinking green light - what buttons are U suppose to hold in? I haver tried resetting with a pin and the light goes out then but blinks again as soon as I release the pressure. What should I do
Thanks for this forum and all the info. I have a WS-65813 that had the caps replaced last year and haven't had any issues since. Can you send me the service manual so I can clean the mirrors? Send to [email protected].
I just bought a WS-65813 and checked it out working at the house loaded it up and drove home, unloaded and plugged it in and now have a constantly blinking led. Everywhere I've looked it seems You're the guy to ask for help with this and the first try for a fix is to change the caps on the DM board. I have a copy of the service manual and training manual. Can You please email the info on this fix to me 97gts(at)comcast(dot)net Thanks
you are posting under the wrong thread and will most likely not get the right info you really need. look at the model number you posted and the thread model liated??

I have a WD-73732 with the blinking problem. Could you send me the info to replace the caps? My email is [email protected]
Thank you.
Wow those have the same problems as sets bought 7 years ago? Guess I'll never buy a Mits of any type ever again then. By the way had my caps replaced and it did not solve the issue (WS-73909).
I've got a 62' Mitsubishi (WD-62525) with this infamous green blinking timer light problem. It happened once before about 6 months ago but simply unplugging and letting it sit overnight got it up and running again. This time... no luck. Before I give up and have to call a repair shop, can you send me the information on repairing the caps please? My e-mail is [email protected]
Larry, I have a WS-55859 and the Mitsu green blinking light issue. You may be done with this after 2 years but...could I get a copy of the relevant diagrams and repair instructions? My email is: [email protected]
Much obliged, DMonty

Your mileage will vary, in my case for a WS-73909 changing out the caps didn't do solve a thing. Mits authorized repair guy then came out and checked out the set and said the DM needs to be replaced, however Mits doesn't have that any more, so the HDTV is not repairable.
So now I have $10k large black lump of coal in my living room and I will NEVER purchase ANYTHING with the name Mitsubishi on it, and I tell EVERYONE that I know or meet about my Mits; they are now getting free advertising from me; altough NOT positive for them!!
I have a WS-65813 TV and am also getting the blinking green light. Please send me the directions to replace the 4 capacitors at [email protected]. thanks.
I already made this request in another thread but I was not sure if that was the correct place. Since everyone in here is asking the same question about the blinking green light, forgive my similar request for the instructions on replacing the caps on the DM board. WD-52525

Geoff in So Cal.
no a hotter iron should not damage the IC as long as you do not burn up/ damage the printed circuit board.
