LOOKS LIKE I HAVE A COMMON PROBLEM. I HAVE A MITSIBISHI WS 65813 AND THE GREEN LIGHT JUST BLINKS. I THINK IT MIGHT BE THE CAPS EVERYBODY IS TALKING ABOUT. IT HAPPEND AFTER A STORM AND WE LOST POWER FOR A FEW HOURS. I AM USING THE MONSTER CABLE $600 SURGE PROTECTER SO I DONT THINK A POWER SURGE GOT IT BUT IM NOT SURE. CAN YOU PLEASE EMAIL ME YOUR DIAGRAM TO CHANGE THE CAPS OUT? THAT WOULD BE GREAT IF THAT WORKS. WE HAVE FAMILY COMING IN TOWN TOMORROW AND NO TV WOULD BE TERRIBLE.
I have the WS-55513 with the dreaded flashing green light. I also replaced the capacitors but the green light just keeps flashing. Could I please ask you to send me the documentation I have read so much about? Any help would be most appreciated.
I too have the dreaded blinking green light as of this morning.
My TV is the WS-65813. Until I found this forum I thought that I have a giant door stop on my hands. I am pretty handy and would like to try repairing this as so many others have done. Can you please help with technical details? I don't have the service manual either. Would that be necessary? I'm willing to do whatever it takes, I love this set.
I can't believe how many of us are experiencing this same problem!
Larry, please hook me up with the knowledge. I own the WS-65813 with the constant blinking light. Please send complete instructions to me at [email protected]. And thank you so much for sharing your knowledge with us. It is greatly appreciated!!
I seem to remember this happening to me a while back but somehow I fixed the problem, or it just somehow went away? Is there something I am missing?
Larry,
Looks like a lot of people are having the Misubishi blinking light problem.

My beloved 65" beast has joined the GL club and has been blinking non-stop (whenever plugged in) and I've tried resets, leaving it unplugged for hours, days, weeks, and months. Still nothing. For a few years we had annual blackouts on my block and whenever the power was restored my TV would show early symptoms of the blinking light problem but eventually would turn on and work like a charm for months until the next blackout. There were also times it would just shut off and random, green light would blink, shut off, and then I was able to power it back on without any issues.
Late last year I simply unplugged the TV from my power center for an hour while I organized some other cables and when I plugged it back in it's been stuck in blinking light limbo.
I have the WS-65511 model, I'd like to have a look at those documents Larry has been kind enough to send out to folks. Please send them to [email protected]
Ok, now this is really weird. Last night before going to bed I walked past my TV and noticed the green light was not blinking. I pressed the power button a couple of times - and Viola - my TV turned on!
Can anybody explain what happened? It now works fine. I don't get it.
hey larry my second tv has a an issue also it is a ws-65809.
I couldnt find where I need to post this model number at.. please help me or redirect me where you can answer me Sorry and thanks!
When you first plug the tv in the green light which is under the word timer next to the power light blinks 3 times than stops completely. Than if you hit the power button the green light stays on for five seconds than it stops completely. The screen at no point lights up.

Soflaspeed, this is a typical problem with your set. Take those directions and pictures and replace those capacitors ASAP. Meaning NOW!! You are very lucky the capacitors are not completely bad and blew out the DM board YET! But it will very soon unless you take the advice given to you. REPLACE THE CAPS!! or you will be sorry!
Hello. A while back I sent you documents on the WL-82913. The problem I'm having is very similar to others in this thread. After moving the set a few months ago, it no longer powers on; just the green light blinking forever. Do you know how to fix it? Thanks!

I'm having the same problem with my WS-65908. I turn it on, it blinks three times, then goes off (no picture, just LED light).
Thoughts? If you think it's the caps you're talking about, would you please send instructions?

Thank you!
