The green blinking light started last night and will not quit. This is something I can not fix myself so will need to have it fixed by a technician. In the past when I have had issues with this TV I have not had very good luck with the technicians around here fixing it correctly. I have found what i believe to be the cause of the blinking green light on my 65615, there are 2 large capacitors on one of the boards (the one furthest to the right if youre looking at the back of the television) both of which were covered in an ivory colored paste. I wanted to replace these capacitors, but i am having trouble locating the correct replacements. the capacitors are labeled gu (m) 820u 200v nichicon. It appears that what i am reading is insanely powerful and difficult to find. Am I reading it incorrectly? If this is correct can anyone tell me where to purchase these?
Hello. I was wondering if i could get some instructions for my ws-48513. it worked fine last night now for the last 6 hours that little blinking green light has been going. i hit the reset button and it goes off until i let off the reset button then it comes back. any support would be appreciated. It seems as though this is a major problem. I have had my WS-48513 for about 4 years and now I am getting the infamouse blinking green light Problem. Fixing it will be no problem if I had the manual if you could send to me it would be greatly appreciated.

WOW I have noticed how everyone who owns a Mitsubishi TV seems to all be having the same problem JUST like ME. I have read alot of interesting information on how to repair the TV.
If you could send me some information regarding my Mitsubishi Model 48515 on the DM board I would greatly appreciate it.
Also for anyone who is interested I did call Stone electronics and he was a very nice gentleman who told me it could be one of three things when the television Green Light keeps Flashing.
1. Dm board could be bad 850.00 for labor and part
2. dnp needs replacing 35.00
3. Power supply module 450.00 for labor and parts
Yes indeed this is alot of money to repair a tv but if My husband and I could get ahold of the parts we could fix it ourselves.
So if you have any sugestions please dont hesitate to let me know cause of right now I havent touched a thing.

This happened after I unplugged the tv, moved it and cleaned behind the tv and stereo cabinet. When plugged back in, blinking lite. The service company wants $95.00 to just come out to check it. If the repair is this easy, then i can put my 20 years as a Navy Electronics tech to use. I just need the info on where this item resides in the unit, and what caps. Thank You for the quick reply. I looked at the info, went and bought the caps and went to work. I replaced the caps, powered the tv on and it works. Thank You so much for saving me alot of money and time waiting for a service rep. Now, i have the original problem I need to see if you can help with. Intermittantly the video will go out. i have to power off the set and back on. It will come on, sometimes it will stay on for 15 min, or 5 min or not come back till the next day. other times it happens about every 5 min, and keeps it up for about an hour then stops. Any ideas?Hopefully, i can get some info and figure out how to fix this issue. Thanks again for your quick response today.

But now most of the posts r referring to capacitors as the fix. Do i have the right parts? I could also use any instructional help on getting the board out, etc.

I'm new to the forum, saw that a lot of people are having problem with Blinking lights on 65813. I am one of the the unlucky ones too. The problem is I am not electronically inclined. Is this a repair a rookie should try to do with you instructions, or do I just have a certified mitsu. repair man do it??
