Quick update I have installed all 7 capacitors correctly as per your directions I do not have the green light anymore (Thank Heaven) But the set is not coming on... Is it posible to replace the fuses and are they available anywhere Any help would be appreciated EW
Double check all of your plugs and connectors. Next step would be to go into the service manual you got, and start by checking all of the small on-board fuses in the power supply. You know now that the problem is no longer with your DM if the green light goes off after you plug it in fresh to the outlet. Let me know what fuses are bad first before you replace them.
Hi Larry, I wasnt sure if you got my model number for my Mitsubishi with the flashing green light. Its WS-65869. My email is [email protected]. Thank you in advance for any docs you can send to help me out. Ricky

I have a Mitsubishi WS-55859 with the blinking green light problem. I have pressed the reset button and the light continues to blink. I have unplugged the TV for 12 hours plugged it back in and the light still blinks.
I have had my TV for 6 years. Could I get a copy of the repair instruction and/or the service manual. My email is [email protected].
I am sorry breakaway. It was late, I should have known that. That is the voltage supply fuse for the DM. Replace the capacitors and the fuse. That fuse does blow sometimes when the capacitors blow out. Hopefully nothing else went out . The only way to see is to replace the parts and try it.

I am trying to determine what to do with my Mitsubishi ws 65869 TV that went out today while my daughter was watching it. *Does that mean she broke it? JK. When you turn it on the green led turns on (you hear a relay click) then the light goes out after 2-3 seconds. Reading about this TV on another post I ran the diagnostics and it returned at 2-2 error code. (short protect). Is this something I can fix (engineer) or should I call in a specialist? Could you suggest what it would take to get it fixed? < 500.00?
If someone has a service manual for this TV i would greatly appreciate it.
Larry could i get the "Fix it how to kit"? send it to [email protected]
Hi, I signed up for this site in order to get advice on how to repair my Mits WS-55859 problem. I discovered this forum through a google search. Also, just in case the problem is with one of the fuses, please send me that info also. Thanks in advance for any help you can give.

Just a quick update Larry After going through the entire DM board the repairman and I fiqured out the power board on this Mitsubishi 65" Model #WS 65869 is shot. Since I cannot purchase this board anymore (they do not make it) Go fiqure So I have decided rather than send the board to PTS to rebuild I would cut my losses and get rid of it I would like to know what a reasonable price would be or just take it to the landfil. EW PS The cost would be about $500.00 for rebuild and installation costs Thank you so much for your help
