I have a Zenith DVT216 home theatre system and it is not allowing me to open the dvd/cd door. Is this a fixable problem? I have 5 days to watch the rented second season of Greys anatomy!! Please help

DVD Recorder switches off

I have a panasonic DVD Recorder DMR-e55 which seems to work ok for about 15mins.
It then just completely shuts down and will not allow me to turn it back on unless i completely unplug at the mains. Could there be something overheating somewhere?

VCR playback noise

Hello-

I've searched the forums for a clue on how to solve my problem, but I haven't found anything that addresses my specific problem.

I have a VCR in the bedroom hooked up.Taping the show is fine and playback on that TV is fine.

No video playback from laptop

I have just set-up my laptop onto my television, I can see the
windows screen cursor moving etc. but when i fire up media player and
play a DVD or divx movie it is shown on the laptop screen but not the
tv screen.

Has anyone any suggestions on how to solve this

Problems changing my tv input from tv to video

I have a sony television and recently lost the remote that came with it. I now have a universal remote, and was able to set it up to control my tv, as well as the emerson dvd player I have. However I'm not able to get the input to change from tv to video mode!!! I tried to do it manually from the menu button on the tv, but there is no video option. Any assistance will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
