Attaching a Matsui 9408 to a DTR

Hi All

I have attached a DTR to my TV/VCR. What I now need to do is to program the VCR to the channels available through the DTR. The manual says this is achieved by holding down the Prgramme Up and Programme Down keys together. The only key on the VCR or remote that perform these functions is the channel change key, and holding this down has no effect.

Can anyone suggest a solution?

Philips HDRW720

Hi i have the philips hdrw720. It ran out of warranty 3 days ago, and typically now i am having problems. Tried contacting Philips but they are useless and won't help, even though searching the web i have discovered that this model has numerous faults. It just will not switch on and i wondered if anyone out there has any advice for me. It has been a little temperamental for a few months now, switching itself off and rebooting at will. But now the damn machine won't come on.

new plasma, dvd now black &white

We bought a new plasma, hooked it all up and thought we would try out a new dvd with it to see how great it was but when we started the dvd, it was in black & white. Some one told me it might be the sequence in which starting it. Any one ever heard of this?

does anyone know what cst in means on a philips vidoe cassette recorder/dvd model  no. dv910vhs, mines keeps blinking, and when i turn it on it stops than after a few seconds it completely shuts off, and were it saids cst in, starts blinking again.
