I too am having the blinking problem with WS55513. My set used to turn off by itself and when turned back on it would blink for a while then come back. Reported to Mitsu and they send me an update for it after that no problem until now. It just keeps on blinking, does not come on. If you can send me the guide with pics I will greatly appreciate it. Please email at [email protected].
I have sent you both the documents you requested. Use the hi temp capacitors as desribed in the documents. but if you want to use others, use the 35 volt caps.Good Luck
Both emails work I tested them. The first address may have blocked it due to attachment but the second one should be fine. How big is the file. Can you try sending an email without the attachment to see if it due to that.
Wow, I can't believe I found this site. So many people with the same problem I have and it seems like Larry is Oz around here. So Larry, I hope you're not tired of doing this, but will you send me those pictures and instructions that you've sent everyone else? I would appreciate it very much, thanks.
Hey Larry, it seems I have the same problem as everyone else here. The blinking green light of death. I have the Mitsubishi ws-55613. Can you please send me what I need to reair this problem. Thank you in advance.
Thank you for the instructions. I replaced the capacitors and put it all back together and it does not work. I have taken it apart and replugged the DM board several time but I still get a blinking light for about a minute then it goes out and the TV will not turn on.I have also pushed the reset .What should I try now.
Thanks Larry, great instructions. Took it apart and the capacitors are indeed bulging at the top. Ordered the new ones, but they won't be in 'till Monday. I'll let ya know how it works out.
Jere, did you read the part in the instructions about the small surface mounted fuses? They are located on the solder side of the DM board. Make sure these are both good.

We have the dreaded green blinking light on our paperweight, and would appreciate the information with pictures to fix the DM board on our 55" Mitsubishi rear projection TV. My husband insists I caused the power surge, so we would have to get a flat screen TV, but if ours can be fixed for around $20, I'm all for it. I understand the capacitors can be found at RadioShack, and I know how to solder.

Hello larry, I didn't receive your email, but one of my kids got on my computer and could have deleted it before I checked could you pls send it again. Thanks [email protected] JAGIII
Jere, the fuse came off the board because it is bad. You need two 4 amp 125 volt surface mounted fuses. If you do not have soldering experience with surface mounted components, take it to someone who does. These are very easy to distroy with heat.
Larrry it look like you have been a big help to everyone with this issue, can you please send me the same info you have been sending everyone.
Plus should i get 1000uF 35V caps or the 1000uF 16v caps?
My email is [email protected]

Found the fuses one came off when I touched it. I need to order how do I identify them to Digikey? How do I attach the fuse back to the board?
