Keljo.. I did have the blinking green LED as a symptom, so your problem may not be directly related to the capacitors. However, the normal visual appearance of the caps is not necessarily an indication that they are not bad (or heading in that direction). I'd follow Laryy Dillon's advice to solve your current problem, but (and especially if you end up paying a repairman to fix it), you may want to consider having the existing caps replaced while he's got your set apart. The blinking green LED problem has been too pervasive to think that those caps in your set, if not failed yet, are on their way to causing future problems.
So...I received Chris and Nat's Fix It guide from Janet and here are my chain of events:
Upon receiving the guide, I disassembled and prepped my television that night, to be ready for the capacitors that I obviously did not have.
The next day, I completed the soldering and put it back together and .....it did not work. After staring at the blank tv for more than 15 mins and being more than slightly frustrated, I called a few repairmen to go over my work. After some negotiating, I agreed to a $30 estimate charge and as much as a $360 repair charge (dv module extra$$). My wonderful wife said, "Go back over it again to make sure". And I did. I later discovered that the dv module shield doesnt fit as normal with the larger capacitors within it. This causes the dv circuit board not to align properly and seat correctly with the tv's bottom circuit board connectors. After removing the dv metal shield and reinstalling the naked dv board with proper alignment, the tv fired right up without any problems.
I called the repairman back and happily told him that I had fix the problem. I dont like to admit it, but detecting slight disappointment from him regarding my sucess made me smile.
I know this is off-subject (and my apologies to Larry Dillon since he's responsible for making my set come alive again), but since we have such a large group of Mits happy campers here, I was wondering if anyone has purchased a DVD recorder with upconversion to 1080i via HDMI capability and managed to interface the HDMI to your Mits (since there's no HDMI connection on (at least) my 55813). Is there a conversion possible from HDMI to Component Inputs?
Could you please email me the detailed instructions with pictures on how to remove the DM module as well as the pictures and information about the caps that might be bad?
I am also a very unhappy member of the Mitsubishi WS-55613 blinking green light of death.
LawrenceD, Yes it is a little of of the beat and path but I will be happy to assist you once again. Yes there are many many adaptors available out there to convert HDMI to component video. HERE is one example. You can certainly find the one your looking for on line by simply typing in what you need. Good Luck
I have a Mitsubishi ws 55613 too and I have the same problem.
Please send me the instructions on how to remove and repair the dm board in my Mitsubishi ws-55613 tv. The green light keeps blinking. I really appreciated.

Larry, would you be so kind to send me this information as well? It seems I've just joined the club...

Have a blinking green light on my Mits WS-55859 after a week of no power. Looks like you have the solution from reading the previous posts. Would you please send me the info at [email protected]. Thanks.
I have done the error code on my 55859 and it is 12, I have just replaced the seven capacitors on the dm board. TV powers on but no pic or sound and shuts off after about 5 minutes. I need to know what to check next. I have done the reset and unplugged several times to no avail. Please email any suggestions or fixes to me. thanks to everyone in advance, kahuna [email protected]

It looks like I am joining the party with everyone else with this "blinking green light of death" problem.
My Mitsubishi is the WD-62825. If you could forward me whatever information you can (repair instructions, manual, where to buy, etc...) to [email protected], I would greatly appreciate it.
Two additional questions: Are there any additional caps (or anything else) I should consider replacing while I am in there, to potentially avoid having to do this, or something else, all over again in a few months?
And secondly, it seems like if everyone is frying 16v capacitors, that maybe they are under-rated. Is there any advantage of replacing them with something more meaty - or is that likely to cause issues somewhere else?
I know it's a holiday Sunday, but if you are checking the boards, can you please send the documents to me at [email protected]? (We'd like to have our TV working to watch "A Christmas Story" marathon :-)
We have a Mitstubish WD-62725 with similar symptoms (although 90% of the time it only happens when it's cold in the room 60 degrees).
1. Turn on TV. Geen light starts blinking like it is going to turn on.
2. You can here a few swiches, then a blinking red light turns on.
3. We either reset it a few times (or every once in while unplug it) and it will eventually turn on.
Now it does not and we are without a TV for the holidays.

Duckie, the fact that the set does not blink green continuously tells me you have another issue Im afraid.
Thanks for your prompt response.
Any ideas of what it could be?? I've never got the msg. about the TV turning off, so I don't think its air flow or heat sensor issue.
