Wormboy said: I have the Mitsubishi 62825. I've replaced the lamp and had the manufacturer confirm it was good. I pulled off the back cover, made sure there were good connections to the lamp assembly. The filter cover is on, the front cover is on. When I power up I get the red lamp light and error code 34. I don't think its the lamp. From all my reading I suspect there are some bad capacitors. IS there some kind of standard kit with the necessary parts and instructions? [email protected]

Sent you the info, and also there is a listing of the error codes in one of the manuals, will tell you better what that code means.

I sent you what I have, not sure if this model was included but they may help, especially the photos. The cap problem is easy to identify, all you have to do is look to see if the top of the caps are swollen, those are the bad ones.

Dman2772 said: I need a repair guide too. Is it even worth trying to fix? How often do the other boards in this unit have problems? Are these parts ok to use building a whole new designed projection tv? Could these boards be replaced by an alternative board? Any other information that would be useful please let me know Thank you very much DAN [email protected]

Dan, I can't really answer all your questions, too much on my plate to look up the info right now, but I did email you the info on pulling all the data I have.  There's tons of good stuff there.

johnny_no5 said: Larry, can you send me the diagrams and info to fix the blinking green light of death for the 62525? I opened the back and don't know how to access the DM? [email protected].

John, I sent you the info today, the pictorial will help you see how to access the DM.  IT's pretty easy, just make sure you don't mix up all those wires.

Also, SMU? As in Dallas?  My hometown, I miss that place.

If you are still giving out the repair documents for the Mitsubishi WD-62825 would you mind sending me a copy? My e-mail is [email protected] . Thanks in advance. I'm on my third bulb in four years (Have also had the chassis rebuilt in the 2.5 years while it was on warranty). I replaced the third bulb and it worked for 2 months when I woke up yesterday and had the green blinking timer light. Your help would be greatly appreciated :)

I'veHadItWithMyTV said: Hello

I'veHadItWithMyTV said: Hello all, I also have the WD-62725 and got the green blinking light (blinky), a tv repair guy/friend changed the caps for me. This lasted about 1 week then blinky came back with error code 37, then nothing at all. I followed some instructions off the internet and it was the FMT board. I bought a FMT board off Ebay, 3 days later after working great, back to blinky with error code 37 which is a lamp fan error code. I replaced 4 out of the 5 fans which did the trick, then, after 8 days of blissful tv heaven it shut down and went back to old blinky and now I cannot even get the error code. I am now thinking the DM board is faulty. Can someone please email the instructions service manual??? My email is [email protected] Thank you all so very much

I have the flashing green

I have the flashing green light of Death as well on my Mitsubishi wd-62825. The TV was working fine after replacing bulb for about 10 min. & then it cut out and started the green flashing light routine. Could you send the repair info to me at [email protected]?

Very much appreciated.

Hi Guys,

Hi Guys,
I have overcome the green blinking light of death and set has been performing well. Well until now. I now have a random video noise showing up. I can see it on every input (Ant 2, comp 1, comp 2 and hdmi. Cannot see it on antenna 1. Strange huh. It looks like random lightning strikes on an analog video. There is no sound associated with it and it tends to not show up until the set is warm. I have the service manual with schematics and cannot seem to see how the antenna 1 signal is separated from the other inputs. Anyone have any clues? Anyone want to adopt it?

Hi there!

Hi there!
Looks like I'm in the same boat with the blinking light.
I do arcade repairs and have dealt with dried caps in many old games, never thought they would be in something this new :)

Could you please send me the caplist/info you have on repairs?
The wife and I are going mad actually having to talk to each-other :)

I have the WD-62825. I don't

I have the WD-62825. I don't have a green blinking light but have a red blinking light. The error code is 36 which I know is the 36 Exhaust (Back Cover) or Lamp Ballast Fan failure.

What causes this failure?
