Ditto on the Blinking light issue. I have a WS-55613. Its Thanksgiving, big party planned so we can all watch football games today but instead we can only watch the blinking light, booo. Any and all info you can email me so I can get started with my repair, much appreciated. [email protected]
whats up with this same problem, got up turn the tv on and nothing but the flashing green light on my ws-55613, would appreciated any help given. [email protected]

I have posted a few times on this board but haven't received any emails or a reply. I hope my posts are being posted. I have a WS-65909 and I am having the same blinking light problem as everyone else here. I tried to replace the caps on the DM board but that didn't fix the problem. The fuses on the back side also checked out fine. Can you email me the manuals and any other suggestions you may have?
Well Larry, guess what? yep blinking green light. If you could be so kind as to send me some info on my tv (Model WD-62825) I would deeply appreciate it. I have the back of the set apart but i just want to make sure i am doing all this correctly.
I made a post on November 20, 2007 at 11:03PM (in bold below) and I haven't heard back from you yet. I had noticed on a reply you made on November 22, 2007 at 12:11PM that you said "for those of you who left the right model number the info is on it's way".
Am I to assume you do not have the information for my WS-65869?
If you could please send me the information anyway because it seems the blinking green light is an issue with any model and it's worth a try to replace the caps on the DM Board. I'd appreciate it, my email address is: [email protected]

Well it's happend to us now...the blinking green light of death. We have a Mitsubishi Medallion WS-65869.
Could you please send me the instructions on how to repair the DM Board.
I decided to purchase the service manual online but I cannot seem to find out how to do the diagnostic test to get the error codes. I assume the process is the same for all the sets. Can you explain how to do this?
dj, yes it was a plesent day except for the icy roads. I mailed out the information you requested. I really hope you can read the DM repair with the light engine as it got damaged somehow and I cannot remember where I got that from. I think from a different type of manual. Good Luck.
Larry, Please forward me the same information needed when you have a green blinking light on your Mitsubishi. I have a WS55513 and need to get it fixed. Thanks, Michelle [email protected]
I will try Kevin. It turns out I did have this manual. It was in the wrong place. Give me some time and I will get back to you. Michelle, I am sending this out to you as soon as possible. Good Luck
The blinking green light has got me too. I just scheduled a repair man to come out to fix it hopefully it's covered under warranty. Should I go this route or is it an easy fix?
Thanks Larry, I received your email. Have a question regarding the capacitors. I was hoping to get this fixed asap so I called around trying to find capacitors. Radio Shack has a 1000UF with the prongs on one end. Is that basically what I need? He was talking about a 30 something volt. I tried to give them part numbers that I had from your email and they said they don't store them that way. Do you know of any other chain stores that I should call instead? Thanks. Michelle
Larry Dillon said: That is not what caused this problem. The unit gets hot inside the metal case. I recommend that hi-temp capacitors are replaced with the old ones. And yes there are pictures and numbers to go by. Good Luck, and let us know how this repair works out for you. I am sending you the directions.
Hi Larry I have same problem could you send me the directions to fix it.email to [email protected]

Michelle, you can certainly use the capacitors from Radio Shack. They may however be a little big, so you might have to bend then over a little to get them to fit.
Where is this statement you are talking about. I agree, there are a lot of these out there. I have personally repaired over 150 of these so far not counting the hundreds that have been fixed here with techlore's help.

Just emailed you the manual. Hopefully you can get some useful info from it and help me get my set back up and running.

Dave, if it is under the warranty, let them do the repair. They will most likely replace the entire DM.
Michelle, you can certainly use the capacitors from Radio Shack. They may however be a little big, so you might have to bend then over a little to get them to fit.
Hello Larry, I am also having a blinking light problem on my WS-55613. Could you please send info to dai2dai996@aolcom. Thank you
Tom
Larry,
You might want to modify your statement "with or without light engine" since DM module
chassis have RGB CRT's ! I have personally fixed 3 DM's in the last 10 days.........X.
Where is this statement you are talking about. I agree, there are a lot of these out there. I have personally repaired over 150 of these so far not counting the hundreds that have been fixed here with techlore's help.
