Hello, Larry,

Hello, Larry,
Well, I finally got tired of playing with this stupid issue and went and bought a new flat panel. Do u know anyone who wants a 5 yr old ws65813 with a problem with the 9 volt regulator board that controls video? If not ,it will be broken down for scrap....
Thanks for all the help and too bad I could not get a new board, vice having to buy a new flat panel.

Nope Larry, I live in Georgia. Yeah, I only got info for replacing the 9 volt regulator. That has now morphed into alot more due to pads lifting and all. So if u know anyone who will want a good tv, let me know. I live in Atlanta, ga.

Larry Dillon
that means you used too much

that means you used too much heat, did you use a small wattage soldering iron??!!
Larry D.

Larry Dillon

The best advice I can tell

The best advice I can tell you at this point is to go to tvrepairkits.com and order the blinking light kit for your model of set, click here please:
http://www.tvrepairkits.com/xcart/home.php?partner=larry the kit comes with the high temperature/ high frequency/long life 105 Celsius type capacitors (not those cheap Radio Shack caps) full easy to follow pictorial directions, AND free live on-Line tech assistance in case you run into a problem, All kits are shipped out within 24 hours in most cases, 2 to 3 day Priority mail. GOOD LUCK!!!

On my Mitsubishi WS-65111

On my Mitsubishi WS-65111 rear projection tv, I had the same green blinking light problem and it wouldn't power up. I ordered the kit that Larry recommended, but then 10 mins later while still surfing around, I saw a post of the same problem that was fixed by disconnecting a wire connector in the front. So I tried it and it WORKED!!! I just took the front speaker grill off and saw 2 wire bundles going up towards the screen. I disconnect the smaller of the two bundles that goes to the front TV controls. Then I plugged the TV back in, waited a min and low and behold, it works perfectly. I have to use the remote because the front buttons don't work, but who cares... I cancelled my order for a repair kit and watched a great old movie.

Larry Dillon
doing it that way and not

doing it that way and not replacing the swollen bad capacitors will ruin the DM board Unless you are posting the wrong model number?!!
Larry D.

DaveBKen
There were no swollen

There were no swollen capacitors or any other visual discrepancies on my TV. According to the fellow who gave me the idea, a TV technician came to his place and said it was a common anomaly with this TV and probably caused by a data overload (pushing buttons on the TV instead of remote). I could probably reattach the connector and it will still work fine, it is just that I left it unconnected as a precautionary measure since I can control it with the remote.

hey larry still have the same

i told you that we replace 4 capacitor and i took 1 hr for the light to stop and was able to turn on tv. i unplug it and move it to my room and again whith same green and now it would not stop.

i pay this tv repair and he

i pay this tv repair and he said he replace them but when he connected the card
the light would not stop and i wouldn't turn so he felt and i felt the tv plug on so after a hour or two i when back to the garage to check on the tv i saw the light was out and i was able to turn it on for almost two day
when unplug it and move it to my room and plug to turn it on and that where light would not stop!!! now!

Larry Dillon
what board did you give him

what board did you give him to replace the caps as that model does NOT have the common general DM with the 4 bad caps on it, oh by the way the caps have to be a high temp type they should be the 105 C not the 85 C

hugo molina
i just check and it's 105 fc

i just check and it's 105 fc 25v on the capacitors
when he put the card back said it has the DM and he said he replace some other lil black box that connect to the bord

hugo molina
hey larry the bord was 7 caps

hey larry the bord was 7 caps and he only replace 4 would that be it?
and the bord said DM3 on it

Hey Larry, I have the same

Hey Larry, I have the same problem as everyone else with the Blinking green light on the front of my WS-65711. I would appreciate it if you could forward me
any instructions or schematic to tackle this problem. Thanks, [email protected]

Larry Dillon
yes you should replace all

yes you should replace all seven caps, can I please have some photos of that board and the caps on the board with the board numbers for all the caps???
I will do my best to find that service manual, but Mitsubishi does not supply the schematic or the DM board as this is not a feild serviceable according to them!!they want you to replace the entire board but it is no longer available!Larry.
