The caps are 16V 1000uf caps. You can upgrade to a 25V 1000uf cap if you want, I didn't and mine works fine. Just desolder the old caps and put the new ones in, making sure you match the polarities on the caps with the board. Put it back together and try to turn it on. If it doesn't after the repair try disconnecting the from pwr/vol/chan circuit board and turning it on. Thats what I had to do to get mine to work.

I have a ws-55511 that when you power it on it then powers off and I have a blinking green light. I check for an error code and I got 2-2. I'm not sure what that means but reading the the comment on this forum I might need to change out the 7 caps on the dm board. Could you please tell me if this correct and if so could you please send me the the instructions I have the WS-55511 and my email address is [email protected]
the 22 code is a short protect code. Most likely the convergence ic is bad, then AFTER you replace the convergence IC find and check the pico fuses, F9A04 and F9A05 and make sure they are good. BUT DO NOT REPLACE the fuses untill you replace the onvergence IC or you could burn up the feedback resistors. Good luck

I went to another websiteHDTVoice.com and found many people with the same problem. go to the forum and go to mitsubishi tv and get to the OMG I fixed my tv thread. A complete novice with detailed idiot proof steps fixed his own and will guide you through the entire repair complete with pics of every step. After reading that thread my tv is up and running for $8 yes $8 dollars. YEAH BABY!!!
Can someone email me the pdf manual for a WS65611 65" Mitsubishi rear projection TV? I also have the green blinking light and it never goes out and it does not blink in any sequence, I think it may be the Convergence IC as some others are seeing.
I need to know what circuit board tray to pull so I can start troubleshooting.

I need your help. I also have a WD-52525. We had a green light to blink also. I cleaned the filter as instructed. It worked. Now a few months later I now have a red light. Volume is working but no picture..After a minute the TV shuts off and the red light comes on under lamp.
Any ideas and suggestions. I am a woman and not that great at repairing but could if I have to.
could possibly be a bad bulb or the power supply. this set has been found that it is not very consumer friendly for repair. Many many bad capacitors I heard Mitsubishi has a rebuild progrm to rebuld these ets for about 300 bucks or so, you ship them only the elctrical chassis, Maybe PTScorp.com may have a rebuild price for this set.

I have a Mitsubishi WS-55613 with the dreaded
i have a HD 1080. when you push the power button it clicks, green light comes on and shut back off in about 5 sec.
Repairable?
if it does not blink continuously, your problem is not the DM CAPS what is the model number you have?
Model WS-55809.
you are correct, the light doesn't blink. it says on for 3 to 5 seconds and shuts right off.

So you think I should just call in a TV repairman he would know what to look for? I bought the TV at Sears do they know how to repair them?
What should I do.? Call the nearest Misb repairman. Would you be able to locate someone near me zip 18045?
