there are others on the board that could be s little swollen on the tops. whats the e-mail address? if i find anything I will send you something likr iz did before.
I don't remember seeing any others that were swollen, but I may have just missed them. Would you recommend taking the board back out and replacing all the capacitors on it? At that point, I wonder if I should try to replace every capacitor on all three boards...thoughts?

We too now have the blinking green light.
We own a Mitsubishi 1080i 55 inch TV, model number WS-55613.
I loose the piture, goes black but the tv power is still on.
I can review the tv menu.
THE SCREEN THEN GETS A LOT OF COLOR LINES IN IT.
I SHUT IT OFF WAIT 1 MIN
COMES BACK ON FINE SOMETIMES FOR A FEW HOURS
OTHER TIMES EVERY 5,10 MIN.
HELP WHAT MUST I DO TO FIX THIS ?!!?
Now it is just blinking, Please send me the service manuel.
Greatly appreciate it.
MY EMAIL IS [email protected]
THANK YOU!
I am pretty sure that your 9volt regulator is bad. I had this same problem replaced it and this fixed it. My screen would just go black but the power light would still be on. If I turned it off and back on I had picture. So I found a post that said to replace the 9volt regulator behind the video signal board. part # number is BA09FP Item is a 9 volt regulator low drop out 270P677030. I believe it is behind the signal board on the right side. I try and find out what connecter it is for you. IC9A52 I believe is the one you are lookking for or IC9A25.
Hey Larry can see you've been really busy. But I haven't recieved any info yet. Could you please try sending it again to [email protected] I checked spam box it wasn't there either. Thanks alot Krhood
Alright, mine turn to discuss my problem. We received the TV from a friend who said it had problems turning on. Sometimes we have to press the power button 5 or 6 times to get it to start. Now, we can't even get it to power up. We took apart the TV and replaced the 4 1000uf capicators with better ones and we have had little success. My question is, where do we go from here. I have all the documentation for the TV and the error code the TV is giving me is 34 (lamp abnormality). Could there be more wrong with the DM board or at this point is it something else?
Larry thank you for the information, and the warning about using the wrong capacitors I had already purchased, you already saved me alot of money. will start repair this weekend and will let you know how it goes. Thanks again.
Larry .... I know you are busy but hoping to receive some information from you in regards to:
no picture after going through unplug and reset procedure -- just blinking green light on the front of my MItsu WS65511 -- please forward on some of the "fix info" for this to me at [email protected] and [email protected] -- much appreciated to the Wizard of Mitsui fixes. Thanks in advance! SeanO !!

Did I not already send you the DM fix as well as the 9 volt regulator repair?
No you must have me confused with someone else, sorry. I did fix those problems but I still get the green blinking light. I have a thread stating my problem in the main forum. A guy replied to me and said that my low energy mode may be turned on and to set it back to standard. Can this fix a green light blinking for about a minute problem? If you have a chance to read the thread its called replaced caps and 9volt regulator.
Add me to the list - I have the Mitsu WD-52525...and the blinking timer light just started.
Larry - could you email me the fix information/manuals? In your expert opinion, will this be an ongoing problem, and how much will it cost me to repair it if I don't do it myself?
Larry,
I have a WD52525 Mits with the blinking green light. I have DM board out, but I could not desolder the capacitor from the board. I'm using a 45 watt soldering iron. Was there anything coating on the board that prevent me from melting the solder ? Thank you in advance for your help.
Hi, I have a Mitsubishi WD-52525 and recently noticed that it seems to shut off within 5-10 minutes of turning it on. Also, when I started messing with the settings it would go from a signal to a blue screen and just freeze until I pull the plug and put it back in. Would the fix being circulated in this thread fix the problem?
mmm tom, thats weird man, did you hold the soldering iron onto the connection and try and melt a little more solder onto the joint? There is no coating n the board. Are you experienced at soldering?

Hello Larry,
I just stumbled on this site in looking for ways to resolve my wd-52525 fuzzy blue screen issue-it sounds like the capacirtor issue could be my problem too. Is it possible to send me the manual or relevant pages? My address is [email protected]. Thank you. Derek
Hi Larry, Thanks for sending the information to repair my Mitisubishi WD-52525 blinking green light problem. I replaced 14 caps and everything worked great for 5 days and then the set froze up and went blank and back to the green flashing light. Any suggestions on what to do next? [email protected]
Mr Dillon, I would appreciate if you could send me the repair docs for a Mits WD-52525 with the infamous blinking green timer lights. I am not sure where to start on the repair (taking the unit apart). Any help would be great.

something else!, probably a power supply issue with bad capacitors or the ballast board is bad,.
