NO, this is not the DM board. The DM board is encased in a shield. It is surrounded by a metal casing. Did you not receive the documents as well as the service manual to help you repair your TV set? Did you ask for them? Are you assuming the problem? Why don't we start from the beginning and you start out by telling me what the symptoms are, exactly please to the littlest detail, of your TV set. What have you done to try and correct this problem?
Ok. Let me start from the beginning. As soon as I plug the TV in I hear a click noise and the power button will blink continously. Not sure what the problems is here.
Greg, what is your e-mail address? Depending on how technically inclined you are, you might just be able to repair this yourself or with the help maybe from a friend to assist you.
Thanks Larry! I received the info and have replaced the 4 capacitors. I hooked it all back up and still get the blinking green light. I know you said to check the fuses, but I am a little wet behind the ears on using a multimeter. How do I check it and what reading should I be getting?
I took care of the multiple postings, how in the world did that happen? LOL. If this model has the DM board mount and plugged into a main board, make sure it is seated correctly. Was the capacitors swollen on the tops? Sometimes, the blown capacitors will take out the DM boar.
Did you look at the fuses in the power supply. The first board you showed me a picture of. Look at F9A02 and F9A03. If these are good, look at the schematic for the power supply and make sure the voltages are reaching the DM. If they are, and the capacitors are done right, the DM could be damaged from the old capacitors. it does happen sometimes. It really depends on how long you let intermittent problems go on for.
Not trying to hijack this thread, but my WD- 52525 is also on the blink, can someone send me the manual and/or the instructions for the capacitor fix. My e-mail is [email protected]
Larry Dillon said: Sure David, I will send it out a little bit later tonight after I get done with family stuff.
Larry, did you get a chance to send it out to me yet? I haven't received anything on my end yet, I know you are busy with family during the holidays and I am sorry to bother you. Thank you very much.
I thought I did send it out already man. I will make sure I send out the info a little later toght man. Sorry you did not get the documents man. Good Luck
Hi there, I am hoping you can help. We too now have the blinking green light. We own a Mitsubishi 1080i 55 inch TV, model number WS-55613. It is a little over 3 years old. The TV just shut off, we could not get it to power on and when we unplugged TV, we now have a continuous blinking green light. We would prefer to avoid the costly repair charge. Can you send up the manual for the fix? Our email is [email protected]. We really appreciate your help and any info you can give us.

Larry,
I also have the blinking light issue w/ the WD-52525 model. Could you please email me the repair instructions ([email protected])?
I have the set tore apart using the service manual and instructions from a different model but now I'm having problems trying to get the electric chassis out of the unit. It seems to catch somewhere towards the top. Ironic, how all these units seem to be failing suddenly around the 3 year period?
In 2 years I've relaced both the power and formatter boards, now I could use the "blinkin'greenie" fix info if you could be so kind... Serves me right for buying a cheap open box "no warrantee" set, but I still have't spent what it would have cost me new, at least.
I would very much appreciate the info on repairing the DM board on a WD52525. I'm helping a friend who has removed what he thought was the DM board, but it's not based on what I've seen here. My e-mail is [email protected]. This is really a great service you're providing. Thanks!
OK I will send out the repair procedure but make sure you repair the power supply board as well,. along with replacing the DM capacitors. There should be some capacitors that are a little swollen on the top of them also. Look at the picture on this thread for identification of the power supply board.
Hello Larry, I seemed to have also developed the same problem with the blinking green light. I replaced the 4 1000uf caps along with the 2 3300 uf caps on the dm board. I reinstalled everything and the blinking green light will not go away. Do you know of anything else that may cause this? Any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks.
I think my earlier request may have fallen through the cracks. I would like to get the info on repairing the DM board for a Mitsu WD52525. i am helping a friend with his repair, and he said the symptoms are a blank screen and a blinking green light. My email is [email protected]. Thanks for your help.

Yes three of the four capacitors were swollen. And the fuses tested fine. Any suggestions?
