Only 55 watts???

So I am looking to upgrade to a new receiver. My top three choices in order are the Harman kardon avr-347 denon avr 2308 and the Yamaha RX-V861, all about the same in price and such. they all have video up scaling, while the denon and hk both have the dcdi chip don't know about the Yamaha. but then it comes down to the power, my main concern 55 /100/ 105 in order. now comes the question what in up with 55 watts that's half. the hk claims to have a high current what ever and I know that hk is more than reputable. but really 55 watts what's the deal.

pioneer dvr-111d

Im new to this so please go easy, well this is my problem!

At present i have a pioneer dvr-107d and a pioneer Dvr-111d in my computer however the Dvr107 will not read any form of disc whether a blank dvd, or a original, although this was not a problem a few months ago, and i have no idea to fix the problem, and the other problem is that my Dvr-111d will read orginal disc's bot not any blank one's, i have updated the firmware on both drives and this did not rectify any of the problems.

Any help would be very grateful

Sony STR. D590

HEY, any help useful I hooked up my Sony to "5" speakers, it was almost new hardly used. It flashed and then then the stereo bar went out.  It has power but nothing in stereo mode,cd. ect. I opened it up and replaced the little slow burn fuse. Unfortunately when I plugged it back in it blew the fuse out again. What happened to it, and is it a resonable repair. I do have soldering experience,so I think with some help we could get her up and playing again. "thanks for any help".

RCA Stereo RS2625B No Power

I have an RCA RS2625B home stereo. It was working fine and then one day just quit. There is no display demo nothing. There are two fuses inside and both are fine. Does anyone have a suggestion as to what might be wrong with this unit?

HELP please

Hi everybody. I have to confess to doing a stupid thing. I imported a Crosley CR83 record player/CD/Radio - that was not the stupid thing. In my hurrey to paly with this wonderful toy, I plugged it in to an adapter [I am in UK], it came on, then went off, and now it does not come on at all. I belatedly obtained a transformer [told you it was satupid], but no joy at all. Can anyone advise? Is there a fuse inside the record player which may have gone?
