Philips HDRW720

Hi i have the philips hdrw720. It ran out of warranty 3 days ago, and typically now i am having problems. Tried contacting Philips but they are useless and won't help, even though searching the web i have discovered that this model has numerous faults. It just will not switch on and i wondered if anyone out there has any advice for me. It has been a little temperamental for a few months now, switching itself off and rebooting at will. But now the damn machine won't come on. Before i am forced to call out ServiceCare i wondered if anyone else has had this problem and if they know of anything that can rectify before i am forced to go bankrupt on service charges. thanks for reading look forward to hearing your comments :)
