My 18 month old pushed some buttons and now the VCR is in a SAFE mode and there is a tape in it. I am unable to power it on or off or eject the tape. Unpluging doesn't work either...HELP his favorite video is stuck!

I own a Denon DVM-1800 5 disc CD/DVD changer. Something is broken and the machine won't respond to any commands via the button on the front or the hand control. It's probably junk but the 5 discs locked inside are not. Does anybody know how to open the carousel of a disc changer that isn't responding to stimuli?

Apex ad1225 DVD player

I have an apdex AD1225 DVD player that is not working. It will play cds, but I can not get it to play DVDs. I have written to Apex digital. They told me to unplug to reset the player. It did not work. I was hoping someone could help with this problem.

Philips DVDR610

We've had the Philips DVDR610 now for 9 months and had constant problems with it. It has been replaced once, had a software update and been repaired twice! It came back from the last repair with more faults than it went in with, I'm taking it back again tomorrow. The faults range from the machine switching itself on or off, which cancels the Timer if its set, being unable to access a menu or being unable to get any playback with disc's showing Disc Error or No Signal. I'd really like a refund but the store refuses and insists it must be repaired.
