solder advice...dislodged coaxial jack from rear of VCR

I'm referencing the "Into VCR" connector. It appears to attach to the side of the mainboard.

Everything is still in tact, but where do I solder the connector back to the mainboard?

And how is this achieved, I've never soldered electronics before? What equipment should I purchase? Much appreciated.

Toshiba VHS/DVD player giving problems

This problem is regarding my Toshiba SD-V291 DVD Player/Video Cassette recorder. When I try to play the VHS mode my TV shows nothing except for a black screen (no picture), but I can hear the sound. My TV, which is a Toshiba 24AF43, is set to Video mode, but still the Video Cassette doesn't play. The strange thing is that whenever I play the DVD player it works, the picture and sound are present. So what could the problem be? I have made all the right connections, according to the manual and I have had this player for 2 years now.

Sugesstion needed?

Can soemone suggest best way(s) to connect these 3 components<>

TV: Philips 42PF9966/37
DISH: DISH NETWORK Dish 811
DVD: DENON 1910

Thanks

Defalt reset on Philips DVD726 without video feed

My kid was playing with the remote and I lost my video feed. Unit loads and plays with sound but I don't get a picture on my set. I'm thinking that my kid set the player to another setting other than NTCS, so no picture, no using the remote as it's sreen menu driven. Any one know how many cursor presses to get to the preference page, and how many presses down to default?
