Annoying AV1 on screen when watching dvd movies

I have a sony KDL-S32A12U LCD TV connected to a Sony DVD player.  There is an annoying AV1 sign in the top left hand side of the secreen when i watch movies.  Does anyone know how to turn this off.  I have been right through the manual but found nothing.  I don't even know what you would call this sign.

I know on I'm on AV1 when watching a DVD!  My is this there?

Can't Get Channels under 51

I have an older 25" GE television. The picture screen suddenly turned to snow and we discovered it will only show channels from 51 up. Using the menu button, we tried to autoprogram the other channels but it will only store the ones from 51 up. Help!

HELP! RCA 32V432T cuts off, picture stays on

... plug it in, the red stand-by light is on, push the "power" button, tv then comes on and the stand-by light goes off with volume, etc working fine ... after a short while ( 1 to 10 minutes) the tv will shut off (the stand-by light comes on) and the sound goes off and the volume buttons won't work but the picture stays on, and there is a click sound every so often and when that happens a rainbow of color will be in the picture, then after a second click and a normal picture.

Help!  My 5 year old Mitsu will not work.  The service tech says that the tube has leaked onto the processor and shorted it out.  I cannot believe that anyone would design a circuit board with liquid over it, but so be it.  The tech says that I now have a $5000.00 piece of furniture since neither the board nor the processor are available.  Any suggestions?  Max Miller
