Television and Home Theater

I am having trouble with my WD-62525 DLP television. I do not know if is related to the other blinking green lights or not.

2 yr old WD-Y57 suddenly unable to power up and have the often described blinking green light. Extended warranty just expired in mid-July. Local authorized service rep says MITS will no longer send him the parts and now require him to send chassis to them for repair. Last one he did cost $1,000 to fix. can't justify spending $1,000 to fix a tv I pd. $2400 for. looking to fix myself and hoping somebody has service manual and repair steps that they would be willing to pass on or any other advice you think is helpful. Thanks.

I have a 32" RCA I think its' model F32649 or similar...It's switching the input all on it's own...I'll be watching a DVD then all of a sudden it will swith back to TV, now it does it when I watch TV to, it's like someone is hitting the Input button? It also wouldn't turn on a few times...Any ideas?

I am not tech savy at all, just wonder if maybe it's something I could fix on my own or if I should bring it in some place?
