2 yr old WD-Y57 suddenly unable to power up and have the often described blinking green light. Extended warranty just expired in mid-July. Local authorized service rep says MITS will no longer send him the parts and now require him to send chassis to them for repair. Last one he did cost $1,000 to fix. can't justify spending $1,000 to fix a tv I pd. $2400 for. looking to fix myself and hoping somebody has service manual and repair steps that they would be willing to pass on or any other advice you think is helpful.
