my wd-52525 started w/ the blinking light. Can you send me help? [email protected]. Tried unplugging, reset - nothing works. Can't we get a class action lawsuit here? This is clearly a known issue Mitsubishi ignored. Poor design and consumers are getting screwed.
I posted earlier, but you're probable busing with all these requests. I have the WD-52525 and the constant blinking light. I'm not sure where the trouble is, but would like a copy of the service manual to help me troubleshoot it.
Larry,
This thread is about 10 months and 26 pages long, is it possible that the information/service manual/secret stuff could be turned into a "sticky" or uploaded to the manuals area? I am certain it would take up a lot less of your time and effort and maybe make it easier for everyone who is having the blinking light problem, just my two cents worth.

Ok after re reading all the other post I need to restate my situation. The Mit wd52525 came on one morning with the net command on the tv screen and the background was snowy. I thought the reason it was coming up was due to the fact that at one time we tried to activate the side channels through an AUX antenna Imagine my surprise when I figured out we needed an antenna. We have a direct TV dish. So I unclicked ant1 and rebootedÂ….big mistake.
All I got after that was a blue screen hmmmm so I hit reset, hmm not working again you guessed it reset, reset is becoming my friend it maynot be working but I at least know how to hit reset.
So now the TV is off then the green light starts to blink and the fan comes on 45 sec latter the fan shuts off and the then the green light cuts off wait a minute and the process starts over again hmm a few more resets Â…
Ok seriously now I left that dang TV unplugged that will fix it,
next day I can get back to that net command screen with the snow in the back ground if I talk to the tv nice Â….
Sillly things I have tried at this point taking the lamp out and putting it back in
Checking to make sure the reset button is not stuck
Checked the water level in the radiator of my car
I give
Thoughts?
when the check engine light goes on the dash of our car, do you open the hood and check it? LOL, it is telling you to check it but to check what? MMM YOU have probably bad capacitors in this puppy, all over the place , and might even be a bad DM or light engine, there's that pesky engine light again!!If you would like the manual and possible cap falures leave an e-mail address and I will see what I can do for you. Good Luck
It's interesting that people ask the same thing, but previous posts has lots of answers..
Any case the green blinking light can mean any part of your TV went bad.. If you read my posts and Kerry & gslacker posts, we all had the same problem with the green blinking light, but ended up we had different locations fail on us.
BTW what I thought I had fixed.. it's gone blinking again. Grrr.. I'll try leaving that USB cable out this time.
