Hi Larry,
I appreciate your generosity and am in need of taking advantage of it. If you could please forward me copies of your paperwork for this repair, I would be very grateful. My email address is [email protected].
Thank you very much!
My Mitsu wd65513 is still working perfect, but now I need more information from Larry the "mitsubishi man"..
I NOW have a Mitsubishi WD-52525 (52”) that will not complete shutting down when it’s unplugged then replugged. The timer light just flashes all of the time. I used to be able to reset via the reset button but that will not work any longer (the reset button works, but when it’s released, the timer light just goes back to blinking continuously). Also, it’s starting to get some vertical lines on the screen. I have been led to understand this may be a sign of need to clean something in regard to the Light Engine... or does this sound like a DM board repair like on my wd65513? Either way, the TV is totally inoperable at the moment. Appreciate your help
Hello Larry looks like you are the guy to talk to. I am having the same exact problem as the guy just above Doin12volt. Would you also be able to help me I love this TV and am not ready for it to be dead. My email is [email protected] if you could possibly help me it would be greatly appreciated.
I seem to have the same blinking light problem on my WD-52525. It could be the DM capacitor problem. I would appreciate a copy of the schematics as well to see if I can fix the problem and save a service call. Thanks!
Hey Larry, on my 52525 I have the blinking green timer light that wont shut off, it doesn't seem to power anything up other than that light, My old man is fluent with schematics and all, and im hoping he has the knowhow to test alot of this stuff. so I was hoping I could get some repair manuals and any other useful info from you, My address is [email protected]
Hey fellow Blinking lighters. I have not recieved an email back from Larry. I don't think he is on this site any longer. Just wanted to let you all know that I took out all three boards and dropped them off at a local tv repair shop and they are putting in new transistors on all baords whether I needed them or not. I will be putting my Tv back together within two days and pray that it works. The Shop charged me 175.00 for the repairs. Still cheaper than 6 to 8 hundred. I did not want to get involved with sodering. I will let everyone know how I it turns out. Dont junk your tv's yet.

This was my original post, - you never answered though - hows the noggin doing? seems like your typing a bit better!
As I was preparing to leave for work this morning, the electricity went off then immediately back on again. While making my rounds to fix all the digital clocks in the house, I noticed a green blinking light on the TV (WD-52525). I tried the reset button and cycling power for a minute as described in this forum but neither option helped. After seeing all the references to the lamp, I gave something a try. I pulled off the front face plate (just below the green flashing light and the width of the television). When I put the plate back in place, the green flashing light was gone. The television powered up and I was asked whether or not I had replaced the bulb. I pressed Cancel on the TV remote (for No) and now the television is working as expected.
Hi Larry,
I have a wd52525 with the blinking green light. Could you send me the information for replacing the capacitors? [email protected]

To Trich: Thanks for the warning, I'll see if the blinking continues.
As for replacing the bulbs often, I'm still on my first bulb (purchased the tv in Jan. 2005, so I've gotten my money's worth out of that bulb.
