Hope all is well. Can you forward the manuals for the WD-C657? I'm getting the blinking timer light all the time and I'd like to replace the caps and the regulator in the DM.
I have a Mitsubishi WD-52525, with a solid red lamp light. I am getting a 34 error code, according to mitsubishi this is a lamp problem or an engine problem. I have tried a new lamp, so I would say it is an engine problem. Can you please pass along any info reguarding repair or replacement.

It seems that my parents (tech challenged) have the dredded MBLOD...Mitsubishi Blinking Light of Death (??) and have found this to be the best spot for sound repair instructions/advice. They have a 1080i HDTV, that after a power-outage, they got the blinking light. They were SURE that it was the DirecTV box that was bad, but after doing some web-digging, I found this is a common problem. They really don't want to spend hundreds of dollars when a trip to Radio Shack and wielding my trusy soldering iron could do the trick.

Hi Larry, my ws-55613 was working fine, then when I moved it to another house, the blinking light started. I did the 4 capacitor fix that I founf online, but it is still blinking. Can you please email me your fix. I'll try that too.

Back about a year ago, Larry Dillon was apparently responding to our pitiful pleadings, but from the looks of things, he has not responded in quite a while. Since he indicated at one point that he might be fighting cancer, I can only hope he is doing well and successful in his efforts. As for our comparatively minor problem with the accursed Mitsubishi capacitors on the DM board, is there anyone out there who GOT Larry's posting of the instructions for the fix and the manual, who could send it to us poor latecomers to Mitsubishi Hell? I have a WS 65511 I don't get rhe blinking light but when I turn It on the green light is solid for about 3 sec and then turns off. I changed the 7 caps, the old ones did not look bad but I changed them anyway. I still have the same problems the set just turns off. Could you please send me any info you can about the set.
