OK Man, There is a common problems that happens after a lot of people replace the capacitors. Take out the DM board, take off the cover, and insert the board into the connectors onto the board. Make sure they all mate up. Now install the case. A lot of times when you are installing the DM it is hard to see if the connectors are all lined up with the cover on. Make sure the set is unplugged when you do this, then after you install the cover, give the set at least a minute or two before trying the set power switch, as if the green light goes out, you know you fixed the problem. Good luck
TO LARRY !! I have the ws-65813 model / Could you please send the instructions and part numbers needed to replace the capacitors and install a cooling fan in the dm module to stop the

I thought my TV just didn't enjoy the Oscars any more than I did, but I realize it may be more than that; I' ve got that darned blinking green light on my WS-55813. Thank goodness my google search led me to this forum.
I would be grateful if someone (Larry Dillion?) would take the time to email me the instructions as well. My email is [email protected].
As I geeky amateur electrician, I feel worthy to the task, as described by others.
Thanks to Larry Dillion and all of you who have mucked this path before me.
Gratefully,
Charles
P.S. Viewing the number of posts on this site and across the web (yahoo forums, etc.), I shocked that so many little green lights have blinked across the country. (Mitsubishi TVs- good; Mitsubishi TV's service & support - bad.)
Larry May I say Thanks for the Great instructions.
My TV Lives, and my kids can now jam to Rock Band in 65" of Mitsubishi glory...
I appreciate the help, and now my wife has unrealistic expectaions of my electonic fixing abilities. so all in all it was a very successful experience...

i need help w/ my ws55813 the green light is blinking forever pls help meee!!
Mr Sid, first check your power supply sources, then check the fuses in the power supply. If the fuses marked F9A04 or F9A05 is open and has no continuity, replace the convergence IC(s). Do not replace the blown fuse without first replacing the IC as you will cause damage to the power supply. Then once you get that problem fixed, you will for sure need to replace the capacitors inside the DM board. Easy fix, but takes a little skill with soldering. Good Luck
John, What is your e-mail address and I will send you the repair information for the repair if indeed the problem is the green light keeps flashing and does not stop flashing.
Larry Dillon said: Thanks Rafa for those kind words. I must have missed this thread somehow? I will be sending the info Lainlow and smrodz asked for. Good Luck with the repair.

Larry Dillon said: OK, on this set the convergence amp can cause this symptom. In the main power supply, check fuses F9A04 and F9A05. If any one or both of these are not showing a short across them, and yes they can be tested in circuit, REPLACE the convergence amp IC, IC8C01. That is STK393-110. You can get a good one from http://www.electronic-repair-kits.com/index.html. If the Two fuses I mentioned are good, check F9A02 and F9A03. Double check the standby voltages in the power supply. They are the 6,12, and the 32 volt supplies. I am sending you the factory service manual so you can see the circuits. Good luck.
Hello Larry. I have a Mitsubishi WS-55813 that is having the same problem with the blinking light. Can you email me the factory service manual as well please? The Mitsubishi reps don't have a clue about what the problem is. I recently hooked up a new receiver to the DVI monolink and that is when the probelm began but from reading the posts I do not see any comments on what caused the problem. Thanks for your help in advance.
