xbox 360 not playing games

hi,

my xbox 360 is not playing games but will play a dvd or a c.d please help

I got this thing in a package of PS2 parts, and was wondering if anyone can shed some light on it. It plugs into the controller port, has numbers 1,3,5,7 on it, and has 2 buttons on it that when pushed, show A, B, C, 1 through 8. I'd like to try and find out what this is for. Can anyone help? Thanks

Have you heard that Microsoft is now going to allow users to create their own XBOX 360 games, as well as will make them available via XBOX Live? Quite the fascinating development.

play station 3 as a blu-ray player?

hello, i am asking this on here because i trust the opinions of the users on techlore. i have some knowledge of home video/audio, but i am not a pro.

we are interested in getting a blu-ray player, figured why not buy a play station 3 and kill 2 birds with one stone. as far as blu-ray playing, is there any reason not to think this way?

also, we have a sony wega with hdmi input and a denon avr-2800 receiver without hdmi. do i have to have a receiver with hdmi? or can i send the picture to the tv with hdmi and route the audio thru my denon?

Guitar Hero North American Revenues Exceed $1 Billion

Okay, so seriously... somebody must play Guitar Hero for revenues to now be in excess of $1 Billion, but I'm pretty geeky and only know like one person who plays it. Am I just too old and not running in the right cricles? Who plays this thing?
