Video Playback / Recording Devices

Recently bought BNI 1000R dvd recorder, sent it back as I could only hear soundtrack music  or, actors comments,  unable to hear actors dialogue. This only happened when playing all pre-recorded discs, no problem with discs I had recorded.     Received replacement recorder, however, I am still having the same problem, have tried to contact the customer services for help, but have been advised that they have closed this department, grateful for any solutions to this problem.

i have emerson VCR, i lost the remote. but some how i managed to get the remote of same model . how can i get the new remote conected to my VCR

Have a Sony RDR-GX7 DVD recorder.  Have cleaned the recorder with a DVD cleaner but still getting "disk dirty" error.  Nothing will record.  Has been working great for over 3 years' using the same brand DVD-R discs.  It started by taking well over 1 minute to start recording, after a week or so of that we started getting the "disk dirty" error and no recording at all.
