Television and Home Theater

SWITCHED ON MY TV TODAY, SOMETHING HAS HAPPENED TO THE COLOUR, EVERYONE LOOKS LIKE THE INCREDIBLE HULK. TRIED TO CHANGE COLOUR BALANCE IN MENU - NOTHING, THEN TRIED PLAYING A DVD, SAME EVERYONE GREEN. DOES ANYONE KNOW WHAT CAUSES THIS, IS IT AN ECONOMICAL REPAIR, OR SHOULD I BIN THE TV. THANKS FOR ANY HELP.

 my controller does not work but i am connected to direct tv which i can use for the tvbut icant use the timer or on the screen chset up and ch3 is on the screen and i cant get if off have any suggestions short of buying another which i cant afford  and besides this still has a beautiful picture.thanks

Okay so here's my problem, 

the tv is turned on and no picture but sound works. The av inputs work, can watch dvd's no problem but no cable, cable is directly hooked up. I'm wondering if its the cable rf connector on the back of the tv or is it something inturnaly that can be fixed, expensive?
