We've had this TV for 3 1/2 years and it's having problems. My husband says it's the picture tube. I have these color bars running down the sides and it's black & white in the center until some type of image goes there then there's color. Would it be better to buy a new TV or try and have this repaired? It's only 3 1/2 maybe 4 years old.

Adjustments-Toshiba TV old model 147R9A

Can anyone advise how to adjust the front controls mainly on a Toshiba model 147R9A tv. The height is also out but I can live with that as the rear height control doesn't have enough adjustment. Controls are "ASM", "CALL", "S", "F", Vol +/- and CH +/-.

Closed Caption on Philips 20pt6441/37

Hi there. I am having problems with the closed captioning coming on after the tv has been turned off. When I power tv back on, the CC comes on after a few seconds and I must use the remote to turn it off. It is a minor irritation, but I would like to get it to stop. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Zenuth 27 hdtv C27V36 is not working

I have no picture or sound. The pwoer LED comes on but nothing else happens. On occasion it will mutter a little bit of sound at me but it is just static sound for about two or three seconds. I was told that it was my power suply but I am not sure what that looks like if someone could maybe help me out I would be very thankful as I am currently watching tv ona 10 black and white until i can fix this problem.
