We've had this TV for 3 1/2 years and it's having problems. My husband says it's the picture tube. I have these color bars running down the sides and it's black & white in the center until some type of image goes there then there's color. Would it be better to buy a new TV or try and have this repaired? It's only 3 1/2 maybe 4 years old.
A TV set this size is about 250 to 300 bucks. It might be worth Getting an estimate, as I really do not think it is the picture tube. Good Luck, and let us know what you found out about the TV set.
