When the power is hooked up the power light flashes three times then goes off. Then I try the power button and nothing happens.

I replaced the IC on this set to repair a convergence problem, when done soldering the ic's i turned the tv on and i realized it did not fix it. I figured the pico fuses have gone as well..turned the tv off.. repair the fuses and still no good...checked resistors( 3.9 ohms ) and found them to be good. after checking the resistors i put the set back togheter and now the tv wont turn on at all... the set clicks when plugged to the oulet but the front LED will stay red and nothing will make it turn on..

Sony TV cable hook up

I recently moved my Larger Sony tv downstairs to the basement, wheere I have another tv that worked fine.  When I plug the calbe directly into the back of the tv I get nothing.  I'm able to hook up and use my dvd player and vcr with out problems.  Do I need to program something with the remote?  Again I can plug my other TV in that cable line with good results.  This Larger tv worked fine up stairs.  Any help would be great,  Thanks,

Sony going into protect mode

Have a Sony KP53s25 (ra1 chassis). When you turn it on, it comes on for about 1 or 2 seconds and then shuts off. I have looked at the power supply board on the bench and can make it do the same problem. All the voltages look good. It seams like the power supply is going into protect mode when everything seams ok. If I disconnect D667 zener the power supply comes up and stays up (this disables part of the protect circuit). Anyone have and Ideas on this?

Mitsubishi WS-65711 Picture out of sink.

I have a Mitsubishi WS-65711 tv, latley the picture seems to be growing at the top and the bottom. If there is writing at either place I can only see about 1/2 of what is there.

What may be the problem? I've looked in the manual and I can not find how to fix the problem.
