tv has no picture and no sound and makes a chirping sound . . . any ideas?

32" Sharp TV has gatling gun ticking

I have a 32" Sharp television which was purchased new in 2001. The picture and sound are good. The tv began having a ticking noise about every minute for a 5-10 minute duration when first turned on. Then the set was normal. Now, as soon as the set is turned on, the ticking is continuous like a gatling gun and does not quit. The picture and sound are still good except for the effect caused by the ticking. I would appreciate any help. Thanks.

My 52" GE Projection TV wont PowerUp

I found this forum today and thought I would get some help from the experts here. I have a bizarre problem. My TV switches on itself and none of the buttons on the TV or the remote work, except that the channels keep changing automatically. TV wont switch on when I want.
Any advice is appreciated. Thanks in advance.

TV black shadow

Please someone help me. I have a Sony 61" TV KP-61V90. I just realized this problem today . My TV has a black shadow like discoloring on the top corner of the TV .I am not sure ,but I think it may be the color tube .Is anyone familiar with the description I gave ? If so do U have any good advice for me as far as repair .I can still ssee most of hte picture an clear it is just that shadow that looks like the beginning to a disaster I am worried I haven't had any problems in 4 years and I do not hear funny sounds or see lines of any sort just that corner.

Sony 46" Projection

I have a 1996 Sony rear projection model # KP-46s25 that has made a clicking sound for a while but recently started to "separate" into 2 sometimes 3 colors (pictures). I had it worked on last year and the guy was here 10 minutes, replaced one part and it cost $300 +. Is this a module or something I can order and put in myself?
