TV on the blink

I have a 27" Magnavox tv that won't shut-off. When I try to shut it off the picture goes fuzzy and the closed captioning box comes on. The picture is also distorted on some channels. Any ideas? Can it be fixed for a reasonable price?

My RCA TruFlat TV's picture is really dark

I've tried to adjust the color, the contrast, and the bright level and nothing has helped. The TV is only 3 years old. I read on the RCA website that there may be a way to set the picture quality back to the original manufacture setting, but I can't figure out how to do that either. I am just stumped. Please help me because its the only TV I have and don't want to have to save up to buy another one if I don't have to. I am begging anyone and everyone for help as soon as possible.

Mitsubishi vs-6002r rear proj. tv

I recently was given a 60" tv by a friend. Problem is, it does not work. It does not power up. I took a look at the power board, and you can tell that it has gotten hot. Is there somewhere you can get replacement boards for these tvs?

An oldie but goodie, except.....

I have a 1997 TV model F25298WT, which has been excellent. Recently it stopped responding to the remote, to ANY remote (yes, new batteries and re-programming were done!).

Is there something inside that could have "burned out"? Or a tube that can be replaced? Never realized how spoiled I was, but getting up to check another channel, and manually pressing from 2 to 67 gets old real fast.

Any info out there?

Thanx,
Kathy
