Television and Home Theater

My Samsung television model code # TXJ2567X/XAA is slow to produce a picture. When you turn the TV on it takes an hour to produce a picture. After that, everything is normal. If you turn the TV off then on it still takes an hour to produce a picture. I am an electrician and think I can do the repairs myself. Would anyone have any suggestions as to what the problem is? In addition, any safety issues especially with capacitors. Thanks for your time.

Hi I have a Magnavox 19" TV model#TL7119 C227. Channels can go up to 125 frm what i see. But the only channels that are programmed that work are 2 thru 15 and 36 and a couple other higher up channels. Does anyone know how to program the other or all the other channels in? I called a repair place here in Seattle. The repair guy said that he thinks it was a hotel TV and that i have to bring it in to him and that he has to do it with a special tool. and a charge of $35 dollars. Sheesh i only paid 25 dollars from a garage sale.

My Advent tv picture has gone to awidescreen picture, black bar on top and bottom, and has stretched the picture cutting off the sides of the picture... connection to dvd and Playstation also now playing in black and white and an even smaller widescreen. What has gone wrong, any ideas? It is just over the year warranty and I would hate to have to throw away an almost brandnew tv?!?!Thanks
