Television and Home Theater

I have a 11 year old Hitachi 60" Projection TV model # 60UX58B. The TV just went out one day while watching it. When I remove the plug from the socket and plugged it back in the power light (red light) comes on for about 5 seconds and shuts back off. I removed the back panel from the TV and I can see little green lights that light up for a few seconds and then they shut off. The power light and the green lights only comes on when I initially plug up the TV. Once the TV is plugged up, nothing happens.

the Power went out the green blinking light wont stop and the tv will not turn on now.

        I recently had my hypermodule on my 42h82 Toshiba rebuilt due to a wavy screen symptoms. Here was my procedure...

-Labeled and removed all connections

-Carefully removed flimzy motherboard

-Desoldered the Hypermodule and sent it in to rebuilt

-Hypermodule returned and resoldered to motherboard.

-Applied dielectric grease to connections and reconnected according to labels.
