Please help with Hitachi 60UX58B

I have a 11 year old Hitachi 60" Projection TV model # 60UX58B. The TV just went out one day while watching it. When I remove the plug from the socket and plugged it back in the power light (red light) comes on for about 5 seconds and shuts back off. I removed the back panel from the TV and I can see little green lights that light up for a few seconds and then they shut off. The power light and the green lights only comes on when I initially plug up the TV. Once the TV is plugged up, nothing happens. When I tried to plug it up in an outlet across the room, nothing happens (no lights at all)
