I recently had my hypermodule on my 42h82 Toshiba rebuilt due to a wavy screen symptoms. Here was my procedure...
-Labeled and removed all connections
-Carefully removed flimzy motherboard
-Desoldered the Hypermodule and sent it in to rebuilt
-Hypermodule returned and resoldered to motherboard.
-Applied dielectric grease to connections and reconnected according to labels.
Turned on Tv and now I have sound but no picture. The screen is completely black and menus DOES NOT appear either. I rechecked all connections and all are secure. The red power light in the front is in a solid state when powered up.
