Cwhense,
Where to do purchase your replacement chassis?
Brought it from a repair shop in Wis. They charged me 500 for it and I got back 200 for returning the old one to them, they do the rebuilds as many of the boards for them are no longer sold brand new. I found the shop on ebay. Here is a company in tx that rebuilds them for 250
My name is Andy and I have been reading through these threads since I too have the green blinking light problem with my WD-52525. I was able to take it apart and found one visibly swollen 3300uf on the Power Board. I replaced this one. I did look at the DM board, but did not notice any bad capacitors there. On the DM board I was looking at the cluster of 4 1000uf capacitors and they looked fine so I did not touch them. In reading some of your responses to other people's issues, you say that a capacitor does not necessarily have to look bad to be bad. Could that possibly be my problem? Should I change the capacitors that look good? Which ones should I be changing and on which boards. I really thought since I found a swollen capacitor on the Power Board and replaced it that everything would work, but after buttoning it up and turning on the power, I still get the blinking light. If you would, please send to me pictures of the boards and hightlight the capacitors that you believe should be changed regardless of how they look. I can take this thing apart in no time now. My e-mail address is [email protected]. I truly appreciate your help.
We also need those special documents for the WD 52525 blinking green light issue. [email protected]
I guess we will try the repair but I have to wonder - is it really worth all this??? We paid $495.00 to a tech in 11/2007 to replace capacitors - looks like 8 all together (looking at receipt). 2 are 3300 uf 25v and then there are 6 1000 uf 16v. Is this what we should order again? Why has this happened again only 1-1/2 years later??? This set has been such a money pit (lamp has been replaced 3 times already!) Is it worth repairing or should we replace?? Anyone have any ideas, comments....please feel free to shout!!!
Thanks in advance to Larry for the documents and also to anyone else who has input!

I Have a Mitsubishi WD-52527 that does not respond to remote or front buttons.
Also the timer light flashes then turns off, then starts flashing again.
I've done some research, a common fix is replacing capacitors on the PWB-DM, could this be true? I have down loaded the service manual. I have soldering experiance, including surface mount.
I've got the same issue these guys have WD-62525 blinking green light no matter what I do. supposedly you can hold down the power button while its blinking and get an error code if thats the case mine is confused cause it goes right on blinking rapidly no breaks. Therefore if you would be so kind as to send me those same directions it would be greatly appreciated.
I finally got my wd-52525 put back together and it works! We replaced 4 capacitors on the power board and one on each of the speaker boards. Thank you for all the help!
Hello, I also have a Mitsubishi WD-52525 that has the blinking green timer light problem. Could I please get a copy of the service manual for caps and board repair instructions? Thank you very much

I have a wd52525 I replace the lamp 1yr ago and it seems to be gone again, it looks ok. The symptoms: I plug the tv in and when the green light stops..turn power on..sound but no picture..after one minute sound stops and red lamp light comes on...then pressed reset button and it just repeats.
Is it possible to send me the manuel/schematic or instructions capacitor replacment. We live in a remote part of the Serria mountains and can't get a
Technician to come this far.
Thanks

Larry,
My WD52525 does nothing, zip, no lights or anything after moving the tv. Any suggestions? I have the power board out and everything looks OK. If you have any manuals I can be reached at [email protected] or [email protected].

off of ebay, if you want I think most local repair shops know about the problem and charge about the same to rebuild.
