I really hope you still answer these posts, as I am having the same problem as everyone else with the green blinking power light. Any help you can provide will be GREATLY appreciated. THANK YOU!!!
Larry, I also have acquired the green flashing light. It has been flashing for 2 days now. Can you send the fix to me at [email protected]. Thank in advance.
We've also got a WS-55813 with a blinking green light. Seems like this has happened before, but it resolved itself. How difficult is the fix? Is it worth fixing?
Hey Larry, you seem to be the man with all the answers. 55813 with the same blinking green light problem as all the others. Please send info to [email protected], Thanks a lot
Well, I HAD the blinking green light problem on my WS-55813 many months ago and solved it by replacing 4 caps. Now I have a different issue. The TV will work for a while, sometimes 15 minutes, sometimes for many hours. Then the screen will go gray with small jiggly horizontal lines covering the whole screen. Usually a power off and back on will cause the normal picture to return. The cycle will then repeat. Any thoughts on this one?
Hi. I posted last month about the blinking light on the Mits WS-55813. I never did get the instructions sent to me. Larry, can you please send them over, or anyone else who has received them from Larry? Thank you very much! [email protected]
I really hope you still check these posts. I had the blinking green light problem, but with the help of reading posts on different forums I was able to learn how to replace the 4 caps. I replaced them, but now when the television is on the picture has really bad squiggly lines running through it on all inputs channels.
I was wondering if you would send me the service repair manual for the 55813. Please send it to [email protected]
Please hook me up with the repair info too for the WS55813. I would greatly appreciate it. Although my tv eventually comes on after blinking, I don't think this is supposed to happen every day. Perhaps my capacitors are dying, but not dead yet.

I seem to be the latest victim of the blinking green light of death on a Mits WS55813. Looking at all of the posts over the past year or so, I'm surprised Mits hasn't had a recall on these sets. in any case, would you mind sending me the repair instructions? thanks for all your help, Jim.
Hi Larry,
I now have this green light blinking problem with my 55813. Argh!
Would you please send me those instructions for the fix? I would appreciate it greatly.
Doesn't Mitsu have some liability here? These expensive televisions (~$3,000 when purchased) should last more than 3 years before a repair is necessary. Seems to me like a faulty design or inadequate parts were used in construction. Have you or anyone in this forum had any success getting Mitsu to fix the problem free of charge?
Larry, I followed the instructions you sent me and for less than $2 I fixed my TV. It's been over a month and (knock wood) I've had no problems. It was a pleasure sending you a token of my appreciation because you enabled me to take care of this problem and prevented me from having to haul away a perfectly good, very expensive television that fit perfectly in it's location. Thanks again.
