Anyone have any idea how much the DM board is for my 55813? After extensive reading, I am guessing that I am too late to do "the Fix". My TV has not powered on for two days. Thanks.

rograb,
Please reread my yesterday's reply to your original post which includes......
"If your tv has a continous green blinking light and will not power on, then you absolutely need to change and upgrade the capacitors (on the DM board) to get the set running again. Post your request, model number and e-mail address to get a copy of the repair guide from Larry Dillon."
Get the manual and get your caps changed out to get up and running.
If you have different problems please describe them and request an opinion from Larry.
As for a repalcement board my searchs thru the internet have concluded that Mits has discontinued making the board and there are NO spares available either from Mits or in the open after market. Anyone finding spares should post the info here for the benefit of those that cannot do the work themselves.
Hi Larry,
Happy Thanksgiving. I apparently won't be enjoying the football part of it without your wisdom. I have the Mitsubishi WS-55813. Just got the blinking light of death. If you can please forward me your info, I would be grateful. Email: [email protected]

I'm here to confirm the instructions work. My TV would not turn on for 2 days, and I thought all was lost. I followed the instructions, replaced my capacitors, and YIPEE it works! I will admit that I stared anxiously at the green flashing light after I powered it back up. Good luck to all.
Hiya Larry and Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family. I am having problems with my WS-65909. I replaced the capacitors and now after a minute or so the blinking light stops and a solid green light comes on for about 3 or 4 minutes but I do not get a picture or sound then I can hear it click then the blinking light comes on again. I'm not sure what else to do so could you please give me any suggestions or send me something that might help me troubleshoot my problem. Thanks so much my email address is [email protected].
It was bound to happen sooner or later and it has finally happened: the green light of doom. I have read the comments from others above and it seems my TV is afflicted with the disease. If you would be kind, please suggest your recommendations for a fix. My email address is [email protected].

All,
DO NOT USE THE PARTS RECOMMENDED IN THE "CHRISANDNAT" LINK! OR THE www.jyerdon.com/tv LINK! (The jyerdon link does mention he is not a technician so review the information below before proceeding!!!!)
(although the disassembly pictures can be useful)
I would wait for Larry's package before getting parts or doing the repair. Larry's package will guide you to some high reliability parts and couple of different solutions that are not in the "chrisandnat" link. With the Radio Shack parts you can set your stopwatch to be right back here in three years, except this time the caps might have caught on fire. Install the same parts and you will likely get the same results.
If you have already put in the Radio Shack or a "identical" part to what you removed, I highly recommend you remove them A.S.A.P. and install a set of caps with the higher ratings. Given the number of sets that have failed I would run with the very best that I could get!
thank you very much rich. I was going to replace the caps tonight . but i will go ahead and hold off. I hope Larry checks in ofter. IM GOING CRAZY...
thanks again. i appriciate your help.
I have a mitsubishi DLP 52628 that upon turn on it blinks for 1 minute then when you push the power button it turns the red lamp led on and doesnt turn on, i have replaced the lamp with the correct osram 2 times and when i hold down the Device + Menu buttons i get Error Code 34. Is this the same problem as most the people on this site, i dont see many of the WD tv's listed yet.
If so any help is appreciated, i can be reached at [email protected]
Thanks,
Jeremy
Hi Larry, one more blinking green light here on a Mitsubishi WS-55813. I'd be most obliged for any information you could send my way to [email protected]. Thanks so much!
Hi, My WS-55813 TV is having the same green blinking light problem. Would you be kind enough to forward me the instructions I need to fix it. I had just bought this TV two months ago from a friend and it just started doing it. Thanks in advance!
After four years of loyal service, I also have fallen prey to the blinking green light of death. May I be so bold as to request your help, Larry? This has been a good TV and I don't want to trash it!
I bet you can guess what my problem is I have the WS-55813 and the well known blinking light. Please help I am disabled and this is my only source of entertainment and real tight on funds. Thanks in advance. My e-mail address is [email protected]

I have a WS-55807 that has a similar problem. When I turn the TV on, the green light comes on, then the tv powers off without a picture. I have run the self diasagnostic(pressing the input and menu button simultaneously) and I get the 2-2 flashing lights. Any ideas on what is wrong and how to fix this problem?
Larry Dillon, maybe too many of us are imposing on you for the manual and instructions to fix the blinking green light problem, but I have another question on the matter that I hope you can answer. Mitsubishi has a kit they sell TV repair shops that deals with the power supply and it's related electronics. Is this their version of what you have found to work, or is it more than most consumers need?
If you get to where you can send instructions and manuals, please hit me with them at [email protected]
Hi have a similar problem but it only happens when I try to do a channel scan for HD tv channels with the digital tuner. Could you send me the manual to [email protected]
