It's no secret that the Sims is the best selling PC game in history. Recently, I picked up a copy of the Sims for PC, and started playing it. Honestly, I don't exactly see what the appeal is. I thought it was kind of...well... boring.

What is it about this game that has made it as popular as it is?

Is the force feedback wheel really worth it for GT4, or does the controller work just as well?

I know it's a tall call, but I'm just going to come out and say it: Half-Life 2 is the best first person shooter ever made. Granted, the original Half-Life was more groundbreaking, and Doom 3 has superior graphics. And the recent Far Cry is no slouch, either. But HL2 has a near-perfect blend of story, gameplay, and graphics. There are so many moments when my jaw just dropped playing it and I've become pretty jaded with respect to shooters over the years, having played so many.

Consoles, of course, can't even compete in this arena.
