where can i get a router for my ps3 so i can connect to the internet and what the hell is a router?

playstation2 will play in playstation3 and playstation3 games will not play why not will someone help me to fix it it is for my sons

I bought the 20 gig ps3 when it came out for 500 dollars, I then bought the warranty for it. As you know, the 80 gig ps3 is 500 dollars now. I got my warranty from best buy. the 20 gig ps3 is crap and i was wondering if any of you know how to get around it.

Sony Playstation 3 Wireless Connect Issue

Trying to establish connection (wireless) between my Apple Extreme router and my new Playstation 3, but am unable to determine what/which is my "WEP Key" in the setup procedure (so can't continue the install.). I have an idea the above inability to establish online connectivity may be creating a problem I'm having with one of my initial BluRay discs. The disc will not display in normal motion, but instead moves ahead only in "stilted frame advances". Other DVD's I've tried in the unit, including one which is BluRay, appear to be performing normally.
