Newbie with a question about the Magnavox TB110MW9 converter box...

Hello, all.  Brand new member here in search of some advice with an old TV and a (fairly) new digital converter box...a Magnavox TB110MW9, to be precise.

Like a lot of people my dad and I got our converter box with the government-issued coupon from the local Walmart.  We actually have two...ours, and another my grandmother gave to us because she lives in a particularly isolated area of the county and it won't work for her.

transistor help

Hoping someone can help me out. I have a damaged sony amp I'm repairing and the fried transistor is 2SC2785-FEK. I'm having problems replacing it and was wondering if anyone had a cross-reference or suitable substitute. Thanks

Working on  pioneer H-R100 8 track unit. one of the meter lamps in out, Looks like a fuse but its a lamp, 8 VAC. where can I find one?

Older Pioneer stereo system Question

I have a Pioneer stereo system that was purchased in Germany, while in the Army, in 1989.

It is in very good to excellent condition. The system includes the following: Stereo cassette tape deck amplifier(model #-RX-Z71), Multi-play 6 disc compact disc player(model#PD-Z81M), Stereo Turntable(model#-PL-Z81), and 2- 75W 2 Way speakers(model#-S-Z71D).

I would like to sell this system and I need info as to what to ask for it.

Does anyone know where I would be able to get this info?

Volts and Working Volts

What is the difference between these values.  For instance if A motor run capacitor is rated at 260 WVAC, what is the equivalent in VAC.  I recently changed a motor run capacitor in a reel to reel tape deck.  The original was a 260 WVAC part.  I switched it out with a 600 VDC/275VAC part.  The motor runs now, but it bogs down with a tape reel loaded.  I suspect I need a higher VAC rated capacitor. ? Help please!
