Video Playback / Recording Devices

Help!!!!!!!!

I am currently having a problem with my DVD system thathas me tearing my hair out.

Back in 2000, I got a Toshiba DVD player. When I went to play back certain DVD's, the picture would freeze and pixilate.
The DVD's would play fine on other players.

Finally, last year I upgraded to a Sony DAV FR-8.
Had the same problem. Exchanged that unit. Had the same problem.
Finally exhanged that unit for a Panasonic SC-HT930.
Everything was fine for almost a year.

Another DVD player...samsung...sound, no pic

As mentioned, I have another DVD as listed above. Last night it just suddenly weirded out on me. There is no picture but sound.
Plaese hlp again!
Thanks,

Zenith XBV342 VCR/DVD source problem

Our Zenith VCR/DVD player keeps defaulting to "TV" as the source, rather than CTV. That means that when we program the VCR for the upper channels, all we get is static.

We keep resetting it, but it changes itself. Any help?

My V C R

I wonder can anyone help me please. Regrettably I am not at all technical and am having a problem with my VCR it is not recognising TV channels. It will not record when pre-set and when VCR machine switched on it interferes with UK Channel 5. I was advised that the Video Channel may be located too close to Channel 5 which would cause the interferance. The only successful way to watch Channel 5 is to have VCR switched off. Spoken to tech.
