need where to find gear for laser motor

any one know where i can get a 12 tooth gear that goes on the laser motor,it is for a onkyo integra dps 9.1 dvd player,i tried onkyo but only the whole mechanism is available for 250.00. all i need is this little part.

DVD players freezing.... what the heck???

What's the dang deal??????  I've just read through all of the posts regarding DVD players freezing, not reading the disc, giving error messages, etc.  I have 3 DVD players. Two are Toshiba vcr/dvd combos, and one is a Coby single disc player.  All were gifts, and each one started skipping almost withing the first month of use.

I just could not believe that I was so unlucky to get 3 bad players.
