Shinco 1250 DVD Player

Having problems reading dvd. Intermittent. Will read for a few minutes then die. Once it gets warm it just keeps giving me this sound like a car reving for a Nascar race.

Should I try to repair? Trash it? Any self help ideas?

Sony RDR-VX525 Copy Protect

I just got a new DVD Recorder - a Sony RDR-VX525 - and I have no problem recording television shows, but when I try to transfer a video to DVD or try to record a movie from the satellite, it tells me it cannot record a copy protected movie.  Is there a box or something I can do/buy to overcome this issue?  Help!

Compacks 800 dvd player

I have had this player for nearly 3 years and it has worked brilliantly until today.

Now it does not recognise any DVD i try to play.

The screen shows " Loading...... and then says "incorrect disc

It can read an audio CD but not as it used to do.

Does anyone have any ideas why this has happened all of a sudden?
