Got this set a couple of weeks ago completely death. I noticed there was a power resistor rusted and the copper on the pcb area cut due to probably a short. So I fixed the copper trace and wanted to make sure that the power transistors were ok.
Can someone help me, I have a Toshiba LCD TV 37E200U. The set sufferd a lighting storm power surge, no sound no picture no LED indicator light. Main fuse ok all SMD fuse on all three boards ok. I am checking voltages at wire connector on power board from main board . On the power board i read no volts on 12v and 24v terminals, I do have 5 volts on 5v termial. No volts on PWR, DIM and Inv termials. On the ACD termial i read .1622v when wire harness is connected to main board, when i disconnect the connector all voltages are the same except ACD witch now reads 5v.

Hello, I have both a 62525 and 52525. I thought i could get one of them working but no dice. Can someone with experience PLEASE help me? I get a red lamp light. I have a brand new lamp. I am getting 420 VDC at the lamp ballast. Is this too much? I am not getting any volts out of the lamp ballast. I replaced the lamp ballast with the other one I had but it didn't work. That one may be broken also because both TVs have the same red lamp light. How can I make sure the lamp ballast is good and is 420 VDC too much from the power board.
